The Icelandic version of American song "Silver Bells", written in 1950. Originally this song was supposed to be called "Tinkle Bells" until Mr. Livingston's wife informed him of the slang meaning of the word 'tinkle'. The Icelandic words are more indicative of a beautiful and celebratory town that's covered in snow, with everyone behaving joyfully due to Christmastime cheer.
lyrics
Jólasnjórinn svífur niður
yfir stræti og torg,
svífur ofan úr skýjunum niður.
Nú er allt sem leyst úr læðing,
enginn leiði né sorg.
Nú er lífsgleðin ríkjandi í borg.
Ljósin ljóma, bjöllur hljóma,
óma hlátrar og sköll,
allir brosa og heilsast með gleði.
Ys og læti, líf og kæti,
hljómar veröldin öll,
jólagleði í hreysi og höll.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
This band’s sound is close to ominous perfection in my ears. I’ve not heard many things like it, but I want more. Perfect cover song also. Metallurgical Fire
